From Demand 3 "prime ministers shall be elected by popular vote;" One would think that this demand had already been enacted as we are subjected to this 'Presidential' election campaign every day. Meanwhile, as you state: "the entire function of government (or lack of perhaps?) has now been 'paused'.." plus we are shown the spectacle of the man drawing the PM's pay, partying and holidaying at our expense.
Also with a National police force seemingly out of control, arresting people for twitter comments and video logs that a single person didn't like, while real crime goes unobstructed, Demand 2 makes more and more sense. I would add that we need a Parish or local, police force, manned by local people with local knowledge patrolling local streets.
However, it is a big step to achieve "recognition and support by the people" of THA. Those I speak to are simply not interested. However, the time is coming, as you suggest, when people will revolt and will be looking for leadership.
